The maps below show structural maintenance and routine maintenance planned by BEAR Scotland in the North West and South East Units, last updated 15/04/2022.

• Structural Maintenance refers to all projects relating to carriageway resurfacing.
• Routine Maintenance refers to projects relating to ancillary assets such as footways (FW), vehicle restraint systems (VRS), drainage improvements (DR) and road marking and studding upgrades (RMS).

Please note the programme for carriageway resurfacing is likely to change subject to operational reasons or impacts from the weather.

BEAR Scotland teams will do all they can to minimise disruption wherever possible, and will work to complete the projects as quickly and safely as possible.

Consultation will be carried out with relevant stakeholders ahead of any schemes which involve road closures or night time working.
