Please be advised that the A83 at the Rest and Be Thankful will continue to operate under traffic signal control for the rest of the afternoon and overnight and it is currently anticipated that traffic signal control will continue tomorrow.
Given the heavy rain forecast at the start of next week, it is anticipated that further periods of convoy control may be required.
Our team continues to have a presence on site and are monitoring conditions closely and a further update will be issued if there is any change to the above traffic management arrangement.
Further to local reprofiling of earthworks at the bund at Glen Kinglas, it should also be noted that traffic management at this site will be removed over the course of the weekend.
