TRAFFIC SENSOR REPLACEMENT WORKS AT M9 JUNCTION 9

  • Overnight southbound carriageway closure on night of 26 February 2024

The M9 southbound will be closed after Junction 9 Pirnhall on the night of Monday 26 February between 20:30 and 06:00, for works to replace faulty traffic sensors.

The work is being carried out by Q-Free on behalf of the UK Government Department for Transport.

A signed diversion route for M9 southbound traffic will be in place via the M80 southbound to Junction 7 Haggs and the A803, returning via the M80 northbound and the M876 back to the M9.
