Blindwells master developer Hargreaves Land has confirmed details of new overnight closures at the Bankton junction of the A1 in East Lothian.
The closures of the westbound slip road onto the A1 will take place between 7.30pm and 6.00am from Friday 17th July and finishing on the morning of Tuesday 21st July.
During the closures, traffic will be diverted at the Bankton Junction onto the A198 towards Prestonpans, using the B1361 and A199 to rejoin the A1 at the Dolphingstone Junction.
The closures will be in place to allow for barrier removal and surfacing of the new extended slip road.
The Bankton Junction project, which commenced in September 2025, is being delivered by Luddon Construction on behalf of Hargreaves Land, in collaboration with Transport Scotland and East Lothian Council.
