Blindwells master developer Hargreaves Land has confirmed details of new overnight closures at the Bankton junction of the A1 in East Lothian.

Three overnight closures of the southbound off-slip will take place between 19.30 and 06.00 from Monday 31 August and finishing on the morning of Thursday 3 September.

At the northbound off-slip three overnight closures will take place between 19.30 and 06.00 from Wednesday 2 September and finishing on the morning of Saturday 5 September.

During the closures, traffic will be diverted via Dolphingstone Junction and returned to Bankton Junction.

The closures will be in place to allow for surfacing works and associated infrastructure work supporting the overarching project, which is being delivered by Luddon Construction on behalf of Hargreaves Land, in collaboration with Transport Scotland and East Lothian Council.
