  • Lane closures with 10mph convoy between 7pm and 7am

Motorist using the A92 between Dundee and Arbroath will benefit from an improved road surface as Breedon Aggregates, working on behalf of Claymore Roads, carries out resurfacing works in three places. The works will be overseen by BEAR Scotland.

  • A92 approach to Nether Kelly westbound: Works will take place between 7pm and 7am each night starting from the evening of Sunday 2 November until the morning of Friday 7 November.
  • A92 approach to Muirdrum Interchange westbound: Works will take place between 7pm and 7am each night starting from the evening of Sunday 9 November until the morning of Friday 14 November.
  • A92 approach to Ethiebeaton Roundabout westbound: Works will take place between 7pm and 7am each night starting from the evening of Sunday 16 November until the morning of Friday 21 November.

To protect road workers and road users, all works will be done under a lane closure using temporary traffic lights and a 10mph convoy during working hours. Outwith working hours all traffic management will be removed with a 30mph in place due to traffic travelling over a temporary road surface.

Access to emergency services will be maintained throughout the duration of the works.

Eddie Ross, BEAR Scotland’s Representative, said “These essential resurfacing works will upgrade the existing road surface, greatly improving the quality and safety for road users. We thank motorists for their patience ahead of these road improvements.”
