BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are set to carry out signage improvements on the A84 near to Kincardine-in-Menteith Primary School over three weeks.

Works will take place between 9.30am and 4pm from Monday 9 March and will be completed on the afternoon of Friday 27 March. No works will take place on Saturdays or Sundays.

To ensure the safety of the road workers and road users, temporary traffic lights will be in place during working hours.

Access for emergency services and scheduled bus services will be maintained for the full duration of the works.

Consultation has taken place with all relevant stakeholders in advance of the signage works to make them aware of the traffic management arrangements and to minimise any inconvenience.

Kevin McKechnie, BEAR Scotland’s North West Road Safety Manager said: “These signage improvements are the start of a package of works to improve road user safety on the A84, including improving driver awareness of Kincardine-in-Menteith Primary School and highlight that numerous other vehicles and pedestrians may be present in the area.

“Our teams will carry out these works with safety as a top priority. We thank the local community and road users for their patience while we complete the improvements.”
