SCOTTISH POWER ENERGY NETWORKS UTILITY WORKS ON M80 JUNCTION 7 AT HAGGS

  • Work to take place from Friday 12 May for 21 days
  • Continuous slip road closures required for safety, 12 May at 20:00 to 14 May at 22:00
  • Verge works along the slip road until 2 June

 

Scottish Power Energy Networks are to undertake essential works to modernise utility apparatus serving the local community around the Haggs and Banknock areas.

To keep utility workers, as well as road users safe, the M80 northbound slip roads at Junction 7 Haggs will be closed from 20:00 on Friday 12 May until 22:00 on Sunday 14 May. Signed diversions will be in place throughout the works.

From Monday 15 May Scottish Power Energy Networks will continue their works along the M80 northbound on slip at Junction 7 Haggs which are set to take up to three weeks to complete. There will be no traffic restrictions throughout this phase of the works.

Provisional dates for these closures are listed in the table below. It should be noted that these dates are subject to change in the event of adverse weather or operational requirements:
