BEAR Scotland, acting on behalf of Transport Scotland, will carry out significant improvement works at a rock slope location on the A82 at Loch Oich for five weeks, beginning Thursday 8 May 2025.
The essential safety works, which will take place from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am to 6pm, will remove loose rocks and debris from the rock slope above the trunk road.
Throughout the five-week period, full time temporary traffic lights will be in place to ensure the safety of road workers and motorists.
BEAR Scotland has been working with all relevant stakeholders to inform them of the project and share information about the traffic management that will be in place.
Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative, said: “The traffic management arrangement is essential for the protection of both our workforce as well as motorists and we encourage all road users to follow signs and temporary arrangements in place. We encourage all road users to plan their journeys in advance by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up-to-date journey information.”
Real time journey information is available from Traffic Scotland at www.traffic.gov.scot or on Twitter @trafficscotland.
