BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is set to carry out essential improvements on the A85 in the Glen Dochart area, between Auchlyne and Lochearnhead, from Sunday 2 November.
The works will be carried out at four locations:

The works at Glen Ogle Head and Lochearnhead (east of the A84 junction) will be undertaken using overnight road closures, while the works at Old Flax Mill and South of Lochearnhead will stay open with traffic lights and convoy systems utilised. Where an overnight road closure is required, hourly amnesty periods will be provided at 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, midnight, 1am, 2am, 3am, 4am and 5am. Waiting traffic will be safely escorted through the site under a 10mph convoy.
Traffic management measures will be removed outwith working hours, however, speed restrictions will remain in place during the day until the works are completed.
Access through the works sites for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
