BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are set to carry out one night of improvement works on the A84 at the Bridge of Teith, Doune.
Works will be carried out between 7pm Monday 26 October until 6am on Tuesday 27 October, subject to weather conditions.
For the safety of the workforce and members of the travelling public, two-way temporary traffic lights will be in place with a 10mph convoy system to safely guide traffic through the site.
Access for emergency services and scheduled bus services will be maintained for the full duration of the works.
Consultation has taken place with all relevant stakeholders to make them aware of the traffic management arrangements and to minimise any inconvenience.
Euan Scott, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said: “The intended carriageway resurfacing on the A84 at Bridge of Teith will fix existing defects in the road surface and improve road markings, greatly improving the quality and safety for road users.”
“Our teams will carry out these works efficiently, with safety as our top priority. We thank the local community and road users for their patience while we complete the improvements.”
