PLANNED WORKS ON THE A82 TARBET TO CRIANLARICH CANCELLED FOR 11 NOVEMBER

November 9, 2022

  • Planned resurfacing works cancelled on the night of 11 November
  • Works will now take place on the nights of 14 and 15 November

Please be advised that planned resurfacing works on the A82 between Tarbet and Crianlarich, which were planned to take place on Friday 11 November, have been cancelled due to a worsening weather forecast. They will now take place on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 November from 8pm to 5am each night.

The works, which began in October, will see a total of 2km of the A82 resurfaced, with improvements being implemented north of Inverarnan, south of Ardvolich and north of Pulpit Rock. These improvements will create a smoother, more durable and safer road for motorists.

Due to narrow carriageway widths along this section of the A82, the A82 will be closed in both directions between Tarbet and Crianlarich each night, in order to protect the workforce and members of the public. A signed diversion route will be in place via the A82, A85, A819 & A83, adding an additional 27 miles (approximately 52 minutes) to the journey time for road users travelling between Tarbet and Crianlarich.

Access for members of public will not be permitted during working hours.

Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
