BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are set to carry out resurfacing works on the A887 West of Invermoriston, near Bhlaraidh wind farm from Thursday 22 May.
Works will be carried out between the hours of 7pm and 6am each night, Sunday to Thursday. Outwith these hours traffic management will be removed however, a reduced speed limit may remain in place, as traffic will be travelling over a temporary surface.
To ensure the safety of the workforce and members of the travelling public, the A887 will be closed in both directions each night during working hours. During periods of closure, traffic will be diverted via the A82 and A87.
Public buses and emergency services will be allowed through the closure and should proceed to the manned closure points.
Road users should also be aware that there are ongoing works on the A82 north of Spean Bridge, at Invergloy under road closure with amnesties at 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, midnight, 2am and 4am.
