On behalf of Transport Scotland, BEAR Scotland will be carrying out essential surfacing improvements on the A9 at Dalmore from Wednesday 20 August.
Works will be carried out between the hours of 8pm and 6am each working night and are expected to be completed by the morning of Tuesday 2 September. No works will be undertaken on Friday or Saturday nights.
To ensure the safety of both workers and road users, overnight lane closures will be in place with a convoy system to safely escort traffic through the work site.
Access through the works site for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
Euan Scott, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said: “This crucial surfacing project on the A9 at Dalmore will fix existing defects and significantly enhance the driving experience for all road users.
“Our teams are committed to executing these works quickly and with safety as our top priority. We thank the local community and road users for their patience while we complete the improvements.
“To minimise delays, we recommend that motorists plan their journeys in advance by consulting the Traffic Scotland website for real-time travel updates.”
