BEAR Scotland the North West trunk road operating company, working on behalf of Transport Scotland, is set to start essential resurfacing improvements on the A84 single carriageway near Buchany, north of Doune.
Resurfacing improvements on the single carriageway section north of Buchany will start at 7pm on Tuesday 6 May and is expected to be completed by 6am on the morning of Tuesday 13 May. No resurfacing will be carried out on Friday or Saturday nights.
Road markings will be added to the new surface from 7pm on Friday 16 May and will last one night with works scheduled to be completed by 6am on the morning of Saturday 17 May.
To ensure the safety of both workers and road users, temporary traffic lights will be in place on the single carriageway with a convoy system in place to control traffic through the work site. Traffic management will be removed during the day.
Access through the works site for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
