BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is set to carry out one night of resurfacing works on the A87 at the old Toll Booth, south of Skye Bridge, from 7pm on Thursday 1 May.

Works will be carried out between the hours of 7pm and 5am under temporary traffic lights and a 10mph convoy.

Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative, said “These essential resurfacing works will upgrade the existing road surface, greatly improving the quality and safety for road users. Road markings will also be upgraded to improve visibility and enhance road safety. We thank motorists for their patience ahead of these road improvements.”
