- Overnight resurfacing works to take place on Monday 30 March
- Three-way traffic lights with convoy
BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is set to carry out essential improvement works on the A82 northbound approach to North Crianlarich Roundabout, north of Crianlarich.
These works, which will involve resurfacing of the northbound lane into to the roundabout , will take place from 19:00 on Monday 30 March and will be complete by 06:00 the following morning.
To protect the workforce, a reduced speed limit along with temporary traffic lights will be in place and road users will be guided through the works, at 10mph, by a convoy vehicle.
Traffic management measures will be removed outside of working hours; however, temporary speed restrictions will remain in place during the day as traffic will be running on a temporary surface with no road markings.
Access through the works sites for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
Steve Taylor, BEAR Scotland’s North West Planned Maintenance Manager said: “These works will help restore the condition of the road surface of this section of the A82 improving driving conditions.
“Our teams are committed to executing these works quickly and with safety as our top priority. We extend our gratitude to the local community and road users for their patience while we complete the improvements.
“To minimise delays, we recommend that motorists plan their journeys in advance by consulting the Traffic Scotland website for real-time travel updates.”
