BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland are set to carry surfacing improvements on the A82 at Invergarry from Sunday 13 July until the morning of Friday 18 July.

The A82 will be closed between 7pm and 6am each night to allow the works to be undertaken safely. Traffic management will be removed outwith these hours but a 30mph speed limit will remain in place as traffic will be travelling on a temporary surface.

During  the road closures, amnesties will allow waiting vehicles to be escorted through the site at 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, midnight, 2am and 4am.

Access for emergency services and scheduled bus services will be maintained for the full duration of the works.

Euan Scott, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative, said “These essential works on the A82 will remove defects in the road surface and upgrade road markings, greatly improving visibility and safety. We thank road users for their patience ahead of these improvements.”
