OVERNIGHT DRAINAGE INVESTIGATIONS PLANNED FOR THE A90 INCHTURE SOUTHBOUND ON-SLIP

May 10, 2022

Works to take place on Tuesday 10 May for one night

Essential drainage investigations on the A90 southbound on-slip at Inchture are set take place on Tuesday 10 May for one night.

The project will involve teams investigating the current condition of the drainage system beside the southbound on-slip at Inchture between Perth and Dundee. Material sampling of the filter drain will also take place as part of the investigation works. These investigation works will inform future maintenance schemes ensuring this section of the network remains at the highest of standards.

The investigations will begin at 7.30pm on Tuesday and will be completed by 6.30am on Wednesday 11 May.

To ensure roadworkers and road users are kept safe during the project, it will be necessary to close the A90 Inchture southbound on-slip from the B953 during working hours. Traffic wishing to join the A90 southbound will instead be diverted via the B953 onto the A90 northbound to the Longforgan Interchange and then onto the A90 southbound.
