BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is set to carry out essential drainage investigation works on the A85 just north of Comrie Golf Club from Tuesday 28 July.
This investigation will be carried out between the hours of 7:30pm and 6.30am over two consecutive nights, Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 July. Works are expected to be complete by the morning of Thursday 30 July.
To protect road users and the workforce, temporary traffic lights will be in place overnight, with all traffic management removed outwith working hours.
Access through the worksite for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
Steve Taylor, BEAR Scotland’s North West Design Manager said; “This investigation will provide valuable information about the condition of the drainage asset as well as clear any blockages within the drainage system.
“We thank the local community and road users for their patience in advance while we complete these essential works.
“Road users are encouraged to plan ahead before setting out by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up-to-date travel information.”
