OVERNIGHT CLOSURES PLANNED ON A720 AND M90 THROUGHOUT NOVEMBER

BEAR Scotland, acting on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be carrying out coring investigation works on various locations on the A720 and M90 between 9 and 24 November 2022.

A series of overnight lane closures and slip road closures will be in place on sections of the A720 and M90 while essential investigation works are carried out.

The works will begin on Wednesday 9 November 2022 for a duration of 11 nights between the hours of 20:30 and 06:00 each night.

The works are necessary to determine the ongoing health of the full depth of the carriageway to inform future maintenance works.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and the public during these works, the following overnight slip road closures are required:

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times and all traffic management will be removed out with working hours.

Consultation has taken place with all relevant stakeholders including local authorities and Police Scotland in advance of these works to make them aware of the traffic management arrangements.
