M90 SOUTHBOUND: EMERGENCY REPAIR TO HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE

September 23, 2020

  • Closure of southbound on-slip and bus lane at M90 Junction 1C Admiralty

The southbound on-slip and bus lane at M90 Junction 1C Admiralty will be closed from 20:00 tonight to allow Scottish Power Energy Networks to carry out emergency repairs to an underground high voltage cable.

This closure is expected to remain in place until the morning of Sunday 27 September.

Traffic using the M90 southbound at Junction 1C will also be restricted to a single lane from 20:00 until 06:00 tonight and on the night of Saturday 26 September, to allow the installation and removal of a safety barrier next to the works.

A diversion route for traffic that would normally join the M90 southbound at Junction 1C will be signposted via the M90 northbound and the A823(M) to M90 Junction 2 Pitreavie.

Further details on the repair can be found on the SP Energy Networks website here.
