KINCARDINE BRIDGE PROJECT COMMUNITY MEETING

March 21, 2023

Locals get opportunity to hear from project team on 29 March 2023

Members of the local Kincardine community are being offered the chance to hear about the plans to replace the southern piled viaduct of the Category A listed structure direct from the team undertaking the major project.

A public meeting is being held at the Kincardine Community Centre in Kincardine on Wednesday 29 March 2023 from 6pm.

Engineers from the project team will be on hand to explain what is involved and answer any questions raised.  An animation detailing the project will also be shown at the event.

The meeting is being held in advance of construction activity which is estimated to start on site around mid-May.

The £16.85m project will be led by Transport Scotland as the client, with operating company BEAR Scotland overseeing the project on their behalf. Detailed design has been carried out by Jacobs. Balfour Beatty was awarded the contract to deliver the project in February.
