The slip road onto the northbound M9 at Junction 10 Craigforth will be closed for carriageway investigation works from 19:30 until 06:00 on the nights of Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 June.
One lane of the M9 northbound at Junction 10 will also be closed.
A signed diversion route for traffic wishing to join the M9 northbound at Junction 10 will be in place, via the M9 southbound to turn at Junction 9 and return northbound. This diversion will add an estimated 10 miles and 11 minutes to affected journeys.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s South East Network Manager, said: “We thank road users in advance for their patience while we carry out essential carriageway investigations in advance of future resurfacing works.
“If you need to use this route on these nights, our advice is to plan ahead and allow some extra time for your journey.’’
Real time journey information is available from Traffic Scotland at www.traffic.gov.scot or on X at @trafficscotland.
Consultation has been carried out with emergency services and other relevant stakeholders to make them aware of the plans in advance.
