BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are set to carry out ground investigation works on the A82 north of Onich from Monday 9 March.
Works will be carried out between the hours of 8am and 6pm and are expected to be completed by Tuesday 10 March.
To ensure the safety of the workforce and members of the travelling public, two-way temporary traffic lights will be in operation for the duration of the works. These will be removed outwith working hours.
Access for emergency services and scheduled bus services will be maintained for the full duration of the works.
Consultation has taken place with all relevant stakeholders in advance of the works to make them aware of the traffic management arrangements and to minimise any inconvenience.
Michael Baxter, BEAR Scotland’s North West Improvements Scheme Manager said: “The ground investigation works on the A82 north of Onich will aid the design of the forthcoming reconstruction and strengthening of the cycleway.
“Our teams will carry out these works safely and efficiently. We thank the local community and road users for their patience while we complete the improvements.”
