FENCE REPLACEMENT PLANNED FOR THE M90 GAIRNEY BANK SOUTHBOUND

July 11, 2022

Works start Thursday 14 July for 15 days

A section of the M90 at Gairney Bank south of Junction 6 Kinross is set to benefit from a boundary fence replacement, with works set to get underway from Thursday 14 July.

The project is expected to take place over 15 days, between 8am and 6pm each day, with all works expected to be complete by 6pm Friday 29 July, subject to weather conditions. No works will take place on Sundays.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers as well as motorists, there will be a lane closure with a temporary 50mph speed limit on the southbound carriageway. Traffic management will remain in place outwith working hours.

Consultation has taken place with all relevant stakeholders in advance of the fence replacement to make them aware of the traffic management arrangements.
