BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will carry out 5 nights of essential improvement works on the A84 at Cambusbeg, East of Callander, from Tuesday 2 December.
The works will take place between 19:00 and 06:00 and will be completed by Tuesday 9 December, with no works taking place on weekend nights.
To protect the workforce and road users, a reduced speed limit and temporary, two-way traffic lights will be in place, with a 10mph convoy. Outside of these working hours, traffic management measures will be removed. A speed restriction will remain in place during the day as traffic will be running on a temporary surface with no road markings.
Access through the works site for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
Euan Scott, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said: “These works will restore the condition of the road surface along this section of the A84, improving driving conditions for all road users.
“Our teams are committed to executing these works quickly and with safety as our top priority. We extend our gratitude to the local community for their patience while we complete the improvements.
“To minimise delays, we recommend that motorists plan their journeys in advance by consulting the Traffic Scotland website for real-time travel updates.”
