BEAR Scotland will undertake essential resurfacing and road marking improvements on the A83 carriageway at Barfad Brae, North of Tarbert, from Tuesday 22 July until Saturday 9 August.
Carried out on behalf of Transport Scotland, the works will see 10 nights of road closures in operation between the hours of 7pm to 5am.

For the duration of the road closure, amnesties will be in place at 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, midnight, 1am, 2am, 3am and 4am, with escort vehicles taking traffic safely through the site under a 10mph convoy.
The road will be open as normal from 5am each day to keep disruption to a minimum, with a 30mph speed restriction in place due to the temporary road surface.
Access through the works site for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
