Drainage ditching works start on Monday 29 September

Temporary traffic lights in place until Friday 3 October
BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is set to carry out essential drainage ditching works on the A83 near Loch Fyne Oyster Bar.
Works will be carried out between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm each day and will start on Monday 29 September and be completed on Friday 3 October.
To protect road users and the workforce, temporary traffic lights will be in place for the duration of the works. These will be removed outwith working hours.
Access through the worksite for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
Euan Scott, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said; “These works are essential to keep the drainage ditch clear of debris and improve drainage in this area.”
“Our teams will do all they can to complete the works as quickly and safely as possible, and we thank the local community and road users for their patience in advance while we complete these works.”
