BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be carrying out essential drainage works at three locations on the A828, with works planned to commence on Monday 11 August as follows:
Works will be carried out between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm and are anticipated to be complete on Friday 15 August.
To protect roadworkers and the public, temporary traffic lights with a convoy system will be in place. Traffic management will be removed outwith working hours.
Access through the worksite for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Euan Scott, BEAR Scotland’s North West Unit Representative said; “These essential drainage investigation works on the A828 at Rosebank, Barcaldine and Duror will provide valuable information regarding the drainage systems in these three areas for potential future improvements.
“Our teams will complete the works as quickly and safely as possible, and we thank the local community and road users for their patience. We encourage motorists to plan ahead before setting out by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up-to-date travel information.”
