BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is set to carry out essential drainage investigation works on the A82 North of Arden Roundabout.
These drainage investigation works will continue for 15 working nights between the hours of 7.30pm and 6am, with no working on Saturday and Sunday nights. Works will be completed on the morning of Wednesday 18 June.
Due to the nature of the works, and to protect both roadworkers and road users, a lane closure and temporary traffic lights will be in place between 7.30pm and 6am. All traffic management will be removed outwith working hours.
Access through the worksite for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
Euan Scott, BEAR Scotland’s Northwest Unit Representative said; “These drainage investigation works will provide valuable information regarding the current condition of the drainage assets and identify areas requiring repair, as well as clearing any blockages found within the drainage system.”
“Our teams will do all they can to complete the works as quickly and safely as they can, and we thank the local community and road users for their patience in advance while we complete these works.”
“We encourage motorists to plan ahead before setting out by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up-to-date travel information.”
