BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is set to carry out essential drainage investigation works on the A82 Loch Lomond, between Stoneymollan Roundabout and Arden Roundabout.
These drainage investigation works will be carried out between the hours of 7:30pm and 6am, with no working on Saturday and Sunday nights. Works are expected to start on Monday 12 May and be completed by the morning of Friday 23 May.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place to protect motorists, pedestrians, and roadworkers, and these will be removed outwith working hours.
Access through the worksite for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said; “These drainage investigation works will provide valuable information regarding the current condition of the drainage assets and identify areas requiring repairs, as well as clearing any blockages found within the drainage system.
“Our teams will complete the works as quickly and safely as possible, and we thank the local community, businesses and road users for their patience in advance while we complete this investigation.
“We encourage motorists to plan ahead before setting out by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up-to-date travel information.”
