Overnight drainage investigation works are scheduled on the M90 Junction 2A northbound off-slip onto the A92 on four nights from Tuesday 20 to Friday 23 October.
For the safety of workers and road users, the slip road will be closed between 20:00 to 06:00 each night.
Traffic will be directed onwards to join the A92 at M90 Junction 3, adding an estimated 0.3 miles and one minute to affected journeys.
Transport Scotland’s operating company BEAR Scotland will carry out the project.
Consultation has taken place with relevant stakeholders in advance of these works to make them aware of the traffic management arrangements and to minimise any inconvenience.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s Southeast Network Manager, said: “It is essential for the safety of the workforce that we close the slip road during these works, however, we’ve scheduled this during overnight hours to minimise any disruption.
“We thank road users in advance for their patience.”
Live traffic information is available from the Traffic Scotland website www.traffic.gov.scot and on X at @trafficscotland.
All work are weather dependent and subject to postponement or cancellation in the event of adverse conditions.
