BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is set to carry out essential footway and bus stop improvement works on the A85 throughout the village of St Fillans from Monday 30 June.

These footway and bus stop improvements will be carried out between the hours of 9:30am and 4:30pm, and are expected to be completed by Friday 4 July.

To protect motorists and roadworkers, two-way temporary traffic lights will be in place 24 hours a day. It will also be necessary to close the footway at certain times therefore diversions for pedestrians will be in place to ensure their safety.

Access through the worksite for emergency service vehicles will be maintained at all times.

“Our teams will do all they can to complete the works as quickly and safely as they can, and we thank the local community and road users for their patience in advance while we complete these works.”
