Falkirk’s Mental Health Association (FDAMH), an independent charity providing mental health and wellbeing support to people in the Falkirk and District community, has received a donation of £750 from trunk road maintenance firm, BEAR Scotland.
BEAR Scotland is committed to working in partnership with the communities its trunk roads pass through, including Falkirk on the M9, where FDAMH has been supporting people across the district for more than 40 years. The charity offers a wide range of mental health and wellbeing services, including one-to-one and group sessions which make a lasting difference to local lives.
Morag Fullard, Head of Operations at FDAMH, said: “We are incredibly grateful to BEAR Scotland for their generous donation of £750 as part of their regional charity initiative. Support like this makes a real difference to the work we do every day, helping us provide vital mental health services and support to people across our communities.”
“At a time when demand for mental health support continues to grow, partnerships with organisations like BEAR Scotland are more important than ever. On behalf of everyone at FDAMH, and those we support, we extend our sincere thanks.”
Leanne Burnett, Customer and Community Relations Officer at BEAR Scotland, said “I nominated FDAMH because of the support they provided to both myself and my son during a particularly difficult time in our lives. “
“FDAMH’s commitment to mental health support has had a lasting impact on our family, and I am truly grateful for the care and dedication they showed us.”
BEAR Scotland offers staff a chance to vote for good causes close to their hearts through its Regional Charity Initiative.
