Dennyloanhead Community Centre has received a £750 funding boost from trunk road maintenance company BEAR Scotland, which looks after the nearby M80 and has a depot at Chryston.

The community hub offers vital services to residents of Denny and surrounding areas, including children’s and adult activities, community events, groups and support for local people.

BEAR Scotland is committed to working in partnership with the communities where it works. This donation is part of the company’s Regional Charity Initiative, which sees BEAR Scotland staff nominate a local charity or cause close to their heart to receive £750.

Dennyloanhead Community Centre said: “We are getting ready to launch our new Community Kids Club. This fantastic donation will help us get the project off to a great start. It will go towards purchasing new toys, games and activities for the children, to help create a fun, welcoming space for them to enjoy.”
