BEAR Scotland donated over £31.5k to good causes around Scotland in July, August and September 2025, and is fully committed to supporting the communities in which it works.
Cash for Kids
For the second year running, over £25k goes to BEAR’s long-term charity partner, Cash for Kids thanks to BEAR’s Annual Charity Golf Day held for corporate suppliers and contractors in August. This brings the total raised for Cash for Kids in the last five years to over £100k.
Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland
BEAR’s chosen charity of the year, Chest, Heart, Stroke Scotland, has benefited from a £2,267 boost from BEAR over the summer months. As well as hosting its fifth Tartan Tea Party of the year, a raffle at the inaugural Queensferry Crossing Doors Open Day offered the lucky winner a trip to the top of one of the Queensferry Crossing’s Towers.
Regional charity initiative
BEAR’s focus on local and regional causes nominated by its employees, saw three charities benefit from £750 each.
In the North West area it was Oxygen Oban and Lochaber Women’s Aid.
In the South East it was the Margaret Kerr Palliative Care unit at Borders General Hospital.
Other charity donations
We also supported two employees’ personal fundraising challenges with £250 corporate donation each for:

This year, we again sponsored Queensferry High School’s participation in a Robotics Challenge. BEAR also erected the bunting for Queensferry Fayre, as we have for several years.
Donations were made to various causes including:
