BARRIER REPAIRS AT M90 JUNCTION 2 PITREAVIE INTERCHANGE

November 16, 2021

  • Overnight slip road closure Friday 19 November 2021

The southbound off-slip at M90 Junction 2 Pitreavie Interchange will be closed between 20:00 and 06:30 on the night of Friday 19 November, to allow repairs to safety barriers to be carried out.

A diversion route will be signposted for southbound traffic wishing to exit the M90 at Junction 2, continuing southbound on the M90 to turn at Junction 1C Admiralty, before returning northbound on the M90 to exit at the Junction 2 northbound off-slip onto the A823(M).

The main carriageway of the M90 will remain open throughout these works.

Consultation has been carried out with emergency services and relevant stakeholders to make them aware of these plans in advance.

Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s South East Network Manager, said: “This overnight slip road closure is essential to allow repairs to roadside barriers to be carried out safely.

“We thank motorists for their patience while we carry out these works. If you need to use this route on the night of 19 November, please allow a few extra minutes for your journey.”
