BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland will be carrying out essential drainage investigation works at three locations on the A83, starting on Tuesday 22 July.
The investigation will be carried out between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm and are anticipated to be complete on Thursday 24 July.
To protect both roadworkers and motorists, two-way temporary traffic lights will be in place with a 10mph convoy system to guide traffic safely through the site. This will be removed outwith working hours.
Access through the worksite for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Euan Scott, BEAR Scotland’s Northwest Unit Representative said, “These essential drainage investigation works on the A83 will provide valuable information regarding the drainage systems in these three areas for potential future improvements.
“Our teams will do all they can to complete the works quickly and safely, and we thank the local community and road users for their patience.
“We encourage motorists to plan ahead before setting out by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up-to-date travel information.”
