A83 AT REST AND BE THANKFUL TO OPERATE UNDER TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTROL TODAY (TUESDAY 17th JANUARY)

January 17, 2023

  • Traffic to operate on the A83 under traffic signal control today and overnight due to forecasts of dry weather and ground saturation levels reducing.
  • Cold and dry conditions currently forecast for much of the coming week, which will allow saturation levels to reduce.

Traffic at Rest and be Thankful will operate on the A83 under traffic signal control today and overnight due to forecasts of dry weather and ground saturation levels reducing. Given the forecast for dry conditions for much of the coming week, it is likely traffic will continue to operate on the A83 under traffic signal control until Friday.

Our team continues to have a presence on site and are monitoring conditions closely. A further update will be issued if there is any change to the above traffic management arrangement.
