Temporary traffic lights will be in place on the A68 south of Jedburgh between 08:00 and 16:00 each day from Monday 6 to Friday 10 October, to allow Transport Scotland’s operating company BEAR Scotland to carry out drainage investigation works.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s Southeast Network Manager, said: “These investigation works will enhance drainage on the A68 near Jedwater Caravan Park, improving safety for motorists.
“The lights will be manually operated during peak times to keep traffic flowing efficiently.
“We thank road users and local communities in advance for their patience.”
