£8,000 DAYTIME DRAINAGE INVESTIGATION WORKS A85 DRUMMOND STREET, COMRIE

  •  Drainage investigation, planned for one day starting on Monday 5 February.
  • Two-way temporary traffic lights between 9.30am and 3.30pm

On behalf of Transport Scotland, BEAR Scotland will be carrying out essential drainage investigation works on the A85 Drummond Street, Comrie, with works set over one day on Monday 5 February between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Due to the nature of the works, to protect roadworkers and motorists there will be two-way temporary traffic lights will be in place during working hours. It will also be necessary to restrict parking on the A85 Drummond Street from Monday 5 February 8am to 3.30pm to allow for the works to take place.

Access through the works site for emergency services will be maintained at all times.

Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said: “These drainage investigation works through A85 Drummond Street will identify condition of the drainage assets and give an indication if further works are required to improve the drainage system.

“Our teams will do all they can to complete the works as quickly and safely as they can, and we thank the local community and road users for their patience in advance while we complete these works.”
