£25,000 DRAINAGE INVESTIGATIONS AT A9 DUNFALLANDY

September 27, 2023

  • Works commence Monday 2 October for three days

BEAR Scotland, working on behalf of Transport Scotland, plan to undertake drainage investigation works, at A9 Dunfallandy near Pitlochry, next week.

Works are programmed to take place on this A9 single carriageway section on Monday 2 October for three days between the hours of 9.30am to 4:00pm.

Due to the nature of the works, it will be necessary to carry them out under a two-way temporary traffic lights traffic management system to ensure the safety of our workforce and members of the public.

Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s Northwest Representative, said: “The investigation will aim to identify the cause of flooding in the land next to the road.

“The use of the two-way traffic management system is essential to keep everyone safe during the works. Our team will do all they can to complete the work as quickly and safely as possible.

“We thank motorists for their patience in advance and would also encourage them to plan ahead before setting out by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up-to-date travel information.”
