February 1, 2024

  •  Drainage investigation, planned for five days starting Mon 12 Feb.
  • Temporary traffic lights between 9.30am – 3.30pm

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be carrying out essential drainage investigation works in the village of Benderloch on the A828, with works planned to commence on Monday 12 February 2024.

These drainage investigation works have a programmed duration of five days, commencing on Monday 12 February at 9.30am and are anticipated to be complete on Friday 16 February at 3pm, depending on weather conditions.

Due to the nature of these works, and to protect roadworkers and motorist, temporary traffic lights will be utilised throughout the works. Pedestrians will still be permitted to use the footpath on both sides of the carriageway.

Access through the worksite for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s North West Unit Representative said; “These drainage investigation works through Benderloch village on the A828 will identify the condition of the drainage assets and give an indication if further works are required to improve the drainage system.

Our teams will do all they can to complete the works as quickly and safely as they can, and we thank the local community and road users for their patience in advance while we complete these works.”
