IT Technician – South Queensferry or Perth

BEAR Scotland is a leading provider of highway maintenance services across Scotland.  We manage and maintain over 2,000km of Scotland’s trunk road network, tackling just about every imaginable task and working round the clock to help keep Scotland moving.

We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic IT professional to joins us during an exciting time at BEAR. This position will be based at our South Queensferry or Perth offices with travel to other depots across Scotland as required.

Responsibilities include:

The day-to-day support of our users along with routine maintenance and administration of the computer systems. Part of this position will be the administration and development of our main system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, training will be provided for the right candidate in the areas of:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 HR
• Power BI
• Power Platform

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• The ideal candidate should have good interpersonal skills enabling them to work with a variety of teams across the business and at all levels and have effective verbal communication is essential.
• The candidate should also demonstrate analytical and systematic problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a positive attitude. Strong initiative, energy and motivation are key role requirements.
• They should feel comfortable with working independently and as part of a team
• A working knowledge of Microsoft software products such as Windows Server/Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Azure and Office 365 is essential.
• Candidates should hold a minimum of HND in an IT related qualification
• The candidate should also have a valid UK driving license.
