BEAR Scotland is a leading road maintenance and management service provider in Scotland, maintaining and improving Scottish Motorways and Trunk Roads including bridges and structures through some of the most scenic, but challenging, parts of the country.

BEAR is an alliance of three highly successful organisations who are prominent in the United Kingdom roads sector – Vinci/Eurovia, Jacobs and Breedon – joining together to provide trunk road network management and maintenance solutions to Transport Scotland.

Collectively these organisations span the world, allowing us to call on the global strength and expertise of our shareholders where required.

We are seeking the appointment of a Commercial Assistant, reporting to the Commercial Systems Manager to join our team, to aid with the logging of valuation records, producing procurement documents and administering measurement data.

 

Role includes:

  • Data input of measurement and valuation data
  • Production of Purchase Orders / SubContract Documentation
  • Reviewing Timesheets and input of records to valuation software
  • Administering databases holding procurement frameworks

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • A good standard of school education
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications in particular, Excel, and preferanly Dynamics (but not essential)
  • To be good team player.
  • Able to act on own initiative.
